5. Seal the bag and label it with the seed variety, date, and any other relevant information using the permanent marker.
6. Keep the bag in a warm and dark location, such as a cupboard or a closet, where the temperature remains consistent.
7. Check the progress of the seeds after a few days, recording the number of seeds that have germinated.
8. After a week, examine the seeds and record the final germination rate.

Interpreting the Results:
To calculate the germination rate, divide the number of sprouted seeds by the total number of seeds tested, then multiply by 100. For example, if you started with 10 seeds and 7 of them sprouted, your germination rate would be 70%.

Here's how to interpret the results:

- High germination rate (over 80%): Indicates high-quality seeds with a high probability of successful growth.
